Free Cash-Secured Put Calculator: Breakeven, Return on Cash, Cost Basis

Cash-Secured Put Calculator

This calculator shows the math behind cash-secured puts using numbers you enter. It doesn't pick stocks, strikes, or dates, and results ignore taxes, early assignment, and slippage. Practice on a paper account first.

How the math works

  • Cash set aside = strike × 100 × contracts.
  • Net premium = premium × 100 × contracts − fees.
  • Breakeven and cost basis if assigned = strike − net premium per share.
  • Return on cash = net premium ÷ cash set aside.
